About WhereToWatchTV
WhereToWatchTV answers one question: where can I watch this right now? Search a film or series and you get the services that carry it, whether it is included with a subscription, free with ads, or only available to rent or buy.
Where our data comes from
Title information — names, cast, plot, runtime, ratings, and poster files — comes from OMDb, which itself draws on IMDb-style catalogue records. Ratings are labelled IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, or Metacritic when OMDb supplies them. Poster files may be requested from Amazon/IMDb image hosts that OMDb points to; we cache what we display.
Apple chart rails and trailers use the public iTunes RSS feeds (itunes.apple.com). The TV Guide uses Schedules Direct listings for national US and Canadian lineups. We are not those companies, and they do not endorse this site.
How we verify where to watch
Streaming, rental, and free options are checked against JustWatch availability data for the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia, then stored as our own dated rows. We only publish a service when it matches a provider we track. Missing options stay blank. This site is not JustWatch and does not reuse their branding.
Confirmed results are re-checked roughly every three weeks, and unresolved ones sooner. Each country page shows the date we last checked that market. Netflix leaving-soon lists are a separate weekly research pass and are labelled as reported dates when a source stated one.
Accuracy
Availability varies by country and changes without notice. The page you are on shows what we last verified for that country (United States, Canada, United Kingdom, or Australia). Always confirm on the service itself before paying for a subscription or rental.
