What it's about
Andrei is now a truck driver. But in one of his travels to Germany he must become once again a boxer just for one night at the middleweight category. Together with his former coach, Tom, he finds the opportunity to close forever one of his tragic life chapters, the one with him being a prisoner in a Nazi concentration camp. "Ringul" is one of the daring movies of Sergiu Nicolaescu, with spectacular boxing scenes and with a harsh ending, but liberating.
