What it's about
The 1st season of "Corpse Princess" has surprising depth even in the first few episodes, addressing the "Abyss" issue and how those who fight monsters are themselves monsters of a sort. The 2nd season loses its way, with some episodes that serve no real purpose, regains the path near the end and then has no resolution..Pros:Excellent animation for the era.1st seasons story has good depth.2nd season "Fan Service" gets a bit much, but was handled well in the 1st season.Cons:Some inconsistencies with the animation.2nd season introduces some silly "Fan Service".Becomes a "monster of the week" in the 2nd season for a bit.
